T.J. Anderson for District 4

Portland needs someone willing to work, and I have a history of getting things done.

Colleges

I helped re-establish our honor societies and student senate. Our PTK branch to national spotlight as a semifinalist to national presidency. While working with both Delta Alpha Pi, and the NSLS. I was the finance chair for a new for of student governance and pro tempore.

Neighborhood

I jumped in to help my neighborhood committee in Goose Hollow, being part of the neighborhood meetings when I could help, and being on the elections committee in 2024. During 2025 I was a facilitator for the tenant advisory council at CHNW trying to represent other college students.

County

As Central CBAC Co-Chair I helped reestablish processes to bring people in. Recommending what had to be done by our view I gave a report to the county commissioners. The next year I became chair of the DCA/DCM CBAC helping those coming in to get great experience working with the budget of the county and the needs of the people.

State

I have represented Multnomah county as a member of the disability services advisory council here in state meetings. Making sure needs are heard and problems are seen working to find answers that empower all.

Action Not Speeches

Some councilors believe that all they have to do is talk at protests without getting anything done. I am not going to do that, instead I will be the one to try and make the life of the citizens of the city as good as possible so they can use that energy to protest and come back home knowing their is less worries in their personal life.
